Documents and formalities
You can order a plastic student ID already at the application stage. If you did not request it earlier, you can do so in October, after the academic year begins.
In that case, submit an application at your Dean’s Office and pay a fee of PLN 22.

Please undergo the medical examination as soon as possible so that you can submit the medical certificate issued by a doctor to your faculty Dean’s Office email no later than October 30, 2026.
Failure to provide a valid certificate results in removal from the student register.
You will receive the referral via the recruitment system in the Candidate Portal – “Student Zone.”
Scan or take a clear photo of the certificate and send it to your faculty Dean’s Office email address. You may also submit the original in person.

Study organization
Yes. Student associations are open to all TUL students.
If you study multiple fields of study, you can apply to the Vice-Dean for Student Affairs for an individual study plan. This allows changes to the order, timing, or rules for completing courses included in your field of study.
Under Erasmus+, Lodz University of Technology has around 400 agreements with partner universities worldwide. These are available to all students, regardless of the language of instruction. You should choose agreements aligned with your field of study. The language of instruction at TUL does not affect your recruitment score. Students completing a mobility semester may have greater flexibility in choosing courses abroad.
Yes, many students are recruited during their studies. The type of work depends on the industry but typically involves supporting specialist roles. Employers value students because they can later advance thanks to their experience and familiarity with company processes.
Yes, all materials at IFE are in English, in line with the field of study.
Sports and PE

Yes. Detailed information is available from the Academic Support Zone. AZS also runs sections for students with disabilities who represent TUL in national competitions.
Only physical sports are offered within the PE programme.
Yes, by enrolling in “fitness + gym” or “general physical education” classes via the Sports Centre website.

International Faculty of Engineering (IFE)
Not initially. Classes in French begin in the third year, giving you two years to reach the required level. In addition to compulsory language courses, IFE offers optional extra classes with a native speaker (2 hours per week).

Parking
Parking spaces at Lodz University of Technology are allocated through an online registration process before the start of each semester.
How does it work?
- Where to find the application forms: Links to the online application forms are announced in a message from the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs. Additionally, posters with QR codes linking to the application forms are displayed across the campus and in the student dormitories.
- Submitting an application: Applications are submitted exclusively online. There are two separate forms: one for Lodz University of Technology students and another for residents of the student dormitories who are not TUL students.
- Allocation of parking spaces: As the number of applicants usually exceeds the number of available spaces, parking permits are allocated by a public lottery organized by the TUL Student Government. The drawing is streamed live on Facebook.
- Payment: Applicants who are allocated a parking space receive an email with payment instructions and the payment deadline. It is essential to make the payment by the specified deadline, as failure to do so will result in the automatic cancellation of the allocated parking space.
