A candidate can apply for up to 4 programmes, but can only be admitted to one programme.
A candidate may submit documents and be admitted only to one field of study and one form of study within a degree program.
In the qualification process for studies conducted in Polish/English, compulsory subjects are taken into consideration, i.e. mathematics and a foreign language, as well as an additional subject of choice: physics, chemistry, computer science, biology, geography, a vocational diploma (if the candidate graduated from a Polish technical school). There are different qualifying subjects for each field of study(LINK).
In addition, candidates for the following programmes: architecture (in Polish and in English), design, industrial design engineering, are required to take a part in drawing skills exam.
The enrollment fee is 85 PLN per course. For programmes where a drawing exam is required (architecture, design, industrial design engineering), the fee is 150 PLN.
Yes. The fee is charged for each chosen programme. Timely payment of the fee (crediting to the account of the TUL) is a condition for further consideration of the application of the registered candidate.
The enrollment fee must be paid before the end of the enrollment period through electronic payment in the enrollment portal.
A minor on the date of submission of documents can participate in the recruitment process with certain restrictions. The following document "Application for enrollment" must be signed by a legal representative, most often a parent. The legal representative is required to sign document at the International Cooperation Center in the presence of an employee of the Lodz University of Technology.
If the documents are signed outside the International Cooperation Center, the handwriting of the legal representative's signature must be certified by a notary public.
The representative may appoint a proxy to perform certain legal actions related to the commencement of studies at the Lodz University of Technology, who must be a person of full legal age and full legal capacity. The authenticity of his/her signature under the power of attorney must be certified by a notary public.
You should know Polish at least at B1 level and at the same time show a language certificate at least at B1 level.
You should know English at least at the B2 level and at the same time show a language certificate at least at the B2 level. The certificates we recognize can be found at the indicated link.
During the recruitment process, you can take a free language exam (in Polish or English) online. The test consists of two parts: grammatical and oral.

Those who have a Pole's Card, permanent residence card, are EU citizens, have a husband/wife of Polish descent or have a ministerial certificate in Polish language at the C1 level - are exempt from tuition fees (do not pay tuition).
Those who do not have the above fee exemptions must pay the tuition fee. Tuition fees depend on the course and mode of study. Details can be found in the fees tab.
Students on part time programmes regardless of their exemptions must pay the tuition fee.
Candidates for study can receive a NAWA scholarship or compete for a free place. See the scholarships tab for details.
The fee for the first semester of study must be paid after admission by the date the original documents are submitted to the Student Mobility Devision.

The Candidate Portal is a service where registration of candidates for studies at the Lodz University of Technology takes place. A candidate wishing to apply to study at the Lodz University of Technology must register in the Candidate Portal (create an account), fill in all the required information about the candidate and his/her education. The Candidate Portal will also provide the results of the university qualification and the opportunity to print out the application for admission to study at the Lodz University of Technology.
To access the Candidate Portal, go to https://rekrutacja.p.lodz.pl/pl and select "Recruitment Portal" in the upper right-hand corner, then click "Recruit for first and second degree programs".
Some tiles will be available only after filling in the basic data, while others will be made available at the appropriate time specified in the recruitment schedule.
Too much information at once could make it difficult to fill in all the necessary data
The declaration for studies allows the selection of a maximum of 4 programmes. The list of these programmes may be freely changed before the deadline specified in the schedule for registration of candidates. Changes to the list of declared programmes cannot be made after payment of the fee for a given programme.
In the case of approaching the second round of recruitment, it is necessary to confirm the participation in recruitment for the programmes that have been paid or you can make changes to the list of selected programmes (in this situation, the recruitment fee is not refunded).

It is possible to recover the password. After entering the Candidate Portal page, select the link "Forgot your password?", you will be taken to the password reset page. A link to the password change page will be sent to the email provided during registration - you will be able to set a new password. Remember that it must meet certain requirements: the password must consist of at least 8 characters and contain at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter and one number or special character.
You do not need to submit documents before qualifying. All necessary documents (scans), must be uploaded to the Candidate Portal. The entered scores will be verified with the attached scans. After verification of the entered scores, you will be able to see the score conversion in the Candidate Portal - if there are any discrepancies, please contact the International Cooperation Center.
The application will be available in the Candidate Portal under the Qualification Results tab. The application will be active for each programme in which you obtain qualified status. You will need to print out only the application for the programme in which you wish to study, sign it and upload it back into the system in the "application" field.
The certificate will be delivered via email up to about three weeks after admission.

Note!!! Qualified lists are updated every few days - if you do not apply in the iteration in which you were qualified for a particular direction, it means that you resign from studying in a particular direction, thus freeing up space for those on the reserve lists.
You must wait for the next iteration(according to the recruitment schedule). Candidates who are ahead of you on the list may not apply or may choose a different major than the one you are interested in. The next iteration is a chance to move from the reserve list to the qualified list.

Yes, you can participate in the second stage of recruitment. This does not happen automatically, you must confirm in the Candidate Portal your participation in the second stage and indicate which programmes to consider for the second stage of recruitment.
When confirming participation in the second stage of recruitment, you also confirm the courses to be included in the second stage. If these are the programmes for which payment has already been made - it will be rewritten for the second stage. You can also resign from the paid programmes (this is not the basis for refunding the recruitment fee) and choose new ones - for these programmes you must pay the recruitment fee.
Attention!!! If during the course confirmation you resign from a particular course, and later state that you would like to have this course again on the list of selected courses, the system treats this as a new course - you must pay the fee for this course again.
Yes, every foreign student (if they apply) will be given a place in the dormitory.
