Transfer

Dear Candidate!

If you want to transfer to Lodz University of Technology, you have to:

  • finish at least first semester of your studies,
  • be a student at your university at the time of application for transfer.

If you want to join us starting from spring semester 2025, you have to send us documents by December, 20, 2024.

Check what documents are required during the transfer:

  1. Filled in Request for transfer 

  2. Filled in Application for admission 

  3. Documents issued by the parent university:

    1. certifying the periods of study and the results of studies obtained (Transcript of Records)

    2. confirming a valid student status

  4. Signed Clause on the processing of personal data 

  5. If you are a student at first-cycle studies - a certificate of maturity or a high school diploma entitling you to undertake higher education with an apostille or legalised in the country of issue or a confirmation from the competent institution that the candidate has started the procedure for obtaining an apostille or legalization

  6. If you are a student at second-cycle studies - a first-cycle diploma with a transcript of grades entitling you to undertake higher studies annotated with an apostille or legalised in the country of issue

  7. Sworn translation of the certificate or diploma into Polish or English

  8. Language certificate according to the requirements

  9. A copy of the passport.

 

► Send all documents (1-9) in one e-mail to the faculty to which you are applying  and wait for decision.

Submitting a complete set of documents does not guarantee transfer to the Lodz University of Technology, so wait until you receive the decision on admission to TUL before taking further steps at your home university.

After receiving the decision about transfer, send an e-mail to the facult with the rest of required documents:

  1. a copy of a visa or residence card or other document entitling to stay in the territory of the Republic of Poland,

  2. one up-to-date photograph that meets the requirements applied in issuing identity cards,

  3. confirmation of payment of a fee for a semester of study in case of admission to study on a payment basis — before the start of the academic year,

  4. travel medical insurance with a minimum insurance amount of 30,000 euros or health insurance (public e.g. NFZ, or a private one valid on territory of Poland).

► Deliver original documents to Dean's Office at the faculty you will study.

 

1st semester payment

Only the payment for the 1st semester (transfer) should be done to one of these accounts. Later on, as a student, you will make transfers to an individual bank account number. These are numbers for ALL international candidates.
