About the field of study
Food Technology and Human Nutrition is a field of study that prepares you to work in the largest industrial processing sector in Poland, the food industry. Graduates of the field of study become specialist engineers in the industry, thanks to their excellent knowledge of the principles of healthy nutrition and excellent laboratory preparation. To become a specialist in the production, analysis and evaluation of the quality of raw materials and food products, students will learn the ins and outs of nutrition technology. They are familiar with the specifics of food products, starting with confectionery, bakery, fruits and vegetables, and ending with fragrance products and cosmetic raw materials. Food storage and distribution have no secrets from them. The curriculum not only includes directional subjects, but also the basics of management, occupational health and safety and ergonomics, and intellectual property protection. From the range of elective classes on offer, you can choose the topics that interest you most - social psychology, traditional nutrition, or perhaps classical chemical analysis? All this makes students well versed in the principles of creating and designing new food products for the market.
