    About the field of study

    Modelling and Data Science is taught entirely in English. The study program combines issues from two important fields of science: computer science and physics. It assumes the acquisition of data science and computer modeling skills based on both data and the fundamental rules that govern the world. Students not only acquire advanced IT competencies, but also abilities that include computer simulations, laser technologies and quantum computing, among others. Thanks to the courses taken in specialized fields in which data analysis plays an important role, students acquire additional skills and learn the secrets of e.g. materials physics or photonics. Team projects, on the other hand, allow you to acquire soft skills that are useful in work and in life. Graduating in Modelling and Data Science allows students to become specialists in process modeling, data analysis, computer material design and computer simulations.

    During your studies, you will learn how algorithms and data structures used in business work. You will learn about computer-aided design methods, numerical methods and quantum systems. You'll learn how to program in modern Python and C ++ languages, as well as how to work with large data sets. The curriculum also includes current issues such as the basics of artificial intelligence. Through the laboratories, you will learn about the properties of electronics and even learn how to model an electron structure! What distinguishes the Modelling and Data Science field of study is precisely the practical classes. You acquire all the necessary skills by implementing more and more advanced projects.
