About the field of study
Urban planning is a field of study that provides the acquisition of knowledge and skills in shaping space so that it meets human needs, but also remains in harmony with the environment. The curriculum provides students with the competencies necessary to solve urban infrastructure problems, with particular emphasis on heating, energy, water supply and transport networks. Lecturers will ensure a high level of teaching and provide key information, such as developing analyses and conducting urban inventories. In addition, students will learn different concepts of urban planning, so that choosing the appropriate planning methods will not be a problem for them. They also acquire the ability to use planning documentation and, based on it, take action towards degraded areas. Urban Planning is a field of study that takes into account modern market needs and their modern solutions, used, for example, in smart city projects. Students can test their knowledge in practice during participation in specialized laboratories, project internships, seminars and workshops of national and international scope.
The study program is available on the website.
