About the field of study

Automation and robot control is a field of study that is definitely paving the way for progress. Master's students have the opportunity to learn the latest and most advanced methods of designing control systems for robotics and industrial automation. In accordance with world standards, they are learning different types of control. In the course of numerous project and elective classes, they are exposed to state-of-the-art equipment and technology, and can consciously shape their competence in the areas of robotics and industrial automation. They also hone their skills in building and applying information systems, such as in industrial networks, data processing, and the Web. They are prepared for independent research work, such as running unique control systems on DSP cards, or for creating and researching their own robotic systems.

About you

Plans for the first mechanical man included Leonardo da Vinci, who in the 15th century designed a robot soldier that could sit, stand, raise its visor and move its arms. The artist's notes were not discovered until 1950, and the reconstructed machine turned out to be fully functional. The entire mechanism of the da Vinci robot was based on a system of rollers and strings. The achievements of the most popular Renaissance man constantly amaze, but surely he too would be amazed at how far we have advanced in inventions and research. All this was possible thanks to specialists who were constantly educated to design more and more advanced solutions. If you, too, want to gain new knowledge and skills, gain experience and work in the broader innovation sector, choose a second-cycle program in automation and robot control. You will learn to undertake innovative tasks independently or in interdisciplinary teams. You will learn advanced methods for designing control systems and optimizing their operation, as well as new devices that allow their implementation in robotics and automation. You will gain all the competencies you need to design robots, create autonomous systems and use vision systems in control. Thanks to a wide range of subjects, you will possess both the original systems thinking characteristic of automakers, as well as unleash the creativity required by today's engineering problems. This will give you the prospects for employment and a decent salary in a broad labor market - from global giants to small companies and your own business.
