About the field of study
Energy Systems in the Built Environment is a new course in English for all enthusiasts of green buildings, cities, energy restoration and environmental protection. During the first semester, students gain theoretical knowledge of energy systems in cities and buildings, and learn computer methods of analysis and design. Classes are conducted in the form of lectures, exercises and laboratories. After passing the first stage, students receive a certificate attesting to the knowledge they have acquired. This is an essential foundation that they use in subsequent learning stages to solve engineering problems with modern tools and methods. Students work in interdisciplinary teams and their ideas are reviewed by experts from industry. They gain skills by finding solutions to real project tasks. Successful completion of the successive stages of learning culminates in a diploma certifying the skills acquired. The final semester is devoted to individual work on a thesis project on a selected topic. Completion and defense of the thesis allows you to obtain a master's degree in engineering. The main advantages of studying this course include close cooperation with industry, foreign lecturers, predominantly practical classes and a future-oriented job market.
