About the field of study

The program of the field of study reflects the strategic objectives of Lodz University of Technology, especially high level of education and modern didactic offer, internationalization, active action with the environment and teaching conducted by competent scientific staff and achievement of world standards in science. Many subjects deal with contemporary problems in the field of management of organizations and develop skills in using management methods and techniques that support them, e.g. planning, organizing, motivating, controlling, negotiating, as well as the necessary information technologies. The subjects chosen by the students are taught in a foreign language, and a foreign language course at B2 level is also mandatory. The program provides classes using modern forms and methods of education: Design Thinking, Problem Based Learning, Case-Teaching, e-learning. Referring to the mission of Lodz University of Technology, the study program involves the training of highly qualified personnel prepared for creative and active participation in economic and social life in the era of dynamic, innovative economy of the Industry 4.0 era, shaping the silhouette of a manager of the 21st century. The in-depth knowledge in the field of social sciences gives the broad competencies required for the effective performance of managerial tasks in various sectors of the economy. 

The program enables the development of openness and cognitive inquisitiveness, creativity and ethical attitudes, and the ability to collaborate with various professional groups at the local, national and international levels. The study program takes into account the needs of different sectors of the economy, emphasizing the specificity of management in the digital world and developing the competencies of the 21st century manager, such as: critical thinking, problem solving, communication, creativity and collaboration. The studies are fully in line with the university's development strategy, ensuring the transfer of modern knowledge and skills in line with the expectations of the modern economy. Management studies are a stage for the improvement of professional and personal competences within the concept of lifelong learning.

When you decide to study a master's degree in management, you will gain the skills to solve advanced economic, organizational, human resources, financial and social problems, using computer aided technology. You will be prepared to use modern methods and techniques in the area of company management, you will also receive specialized theoretical and practical knowledge and skills for critical analysis and evaluation of existing phenomena.
