About the field of study
The field of Production Management combines managerial knowledge and skills with knowledge of the functioning of production and service processes in changing market conditions. Our graduates are specialists in the comprehensive organization of production systems in modern economic realities. During training, they acquire the ability to adapt the way of managing production systems to current trends. As a result, they are able to join a workforce capable of creative and active participation in economic and social life in the era of the knowledge economy. The study program allows them to engage in the process of data collection in enterprises and other institutions, necessary for the implementation of business projects and scientific research, as well as to gain skills in using methods and techniques used to carry out analysis. Students can undertake work in the field of analysis and study of organizational, technical, construction and design of production and service processes, as well as prepare to perform organizational functions at all levels of enterprise management, undertake managerial tasks in production, service, consulting, design, research, etc.

About you
Currently, there are 2.62 million active companies in Poland. Almost half of them are companies from the industrial sector. More than 100 international production companies operate in the Lodz region. The management staff of these companies is largely made up of graduates of the Faculty of Organization and Management. In the field of Production Management, you will acquire the competencies necessary for planning and implementation of research and development works, as well as the implementation of their results. You will gain the ability to select appropriate methods and tools in the analysis and evaluation of production systems. Working knowledge of design and rationalization of production systems, as well as the ability to analyze and evaluate complex problems, and develop and implement solutions, will allow you to understand the operation of industry and get a job in the industry. What prospects await a graduate of Production Management? Managing employee teams, running their own production, service or production and sales companies, or perhaps implementing solutions related to Industry 4.0 - graduates of the production management field can count on broad employment prospects.
