About the field of study

Automation and robotics is a field of study that allows you to discover the fundamental principles that govern the world of machines. Students develop skills in the methodology of design and construction work, as well as design and programming in CAD/CAM systems. They will also learn about robotics, automatic control or the design of mechanical automation systems and computational algorithms. During their studies, they discover the secrets of mechanics, strength of materials and gain a solid foundation in mechanical engineering, enabling them to design equipment for automation in all industries. 

A degree in automation and robotics prepares you to run and program automatic control and supervisory systems using microprocessor systems, robots and other technologies available today. Practical classes in state-of-the-art laboratories and learning to program robots and automation systems are based on products from world leaders such as ABB, Motoman, Mitsubishi and Siemens.
