Chemistry is not only a theoretical science, but above all an experimental one. In this field of study, after learning the basics of chemistry, chemical technology and environmental protection, students are involved in the study of the composition and properties of chemical substances, the development of new methods for their synthesis and the application of advanced measurement methods. This is a field of study for both those who enjoy working in laboratories and those who enjoy working at a computer - by studying chemistry, you can develop in modern methods of theoretical chemistry, carry out chemical processes or develop in mathematical methods of developing results. The study programme develops your skills in using modern methods to identify chemical compounds, interpret phenomena and apply computational methods to study chemical compounds. In your science classes, you will learn analytical thinking and carry out advanced scientific experiments, while technical science will introduce you to the latest technologies. The aim of the research is to search for new chemical substances with desirable properties. The knowledge gained has a practical dimension, responding to the needs of R&D departments of chemical, cosmetic and pharmaceutical companies, as well as modern analytical and environmental laboratories.

I am a graduate of chemistry and chemical technology at the Faculty of Chemistry of Lodz University of Technology. In my professional interests, I turned to pharmaceutical chemistry and biochemistry, and my studies at the Faculty of Chemistry gave me an excellent basis for this, enabling me to have extensive contacts with scientific teams around the world.
